Guidelines for Authors

Publication Guidelines for Eda’at Journal

• The journal accepts scholarly research papers across all fields of the humanities.

• Submissions that do not adhere to established scientific research methodologies will be rejected.

• Authors are required to address any revisions or comments provided by experts and peer reviewers.

• All submissions undergo a confidential peer-review process by at least two specialists in the relevant field, in accordance with recognized academic standards.

• All manuscripts are subject to plagiarism detection software to ensure originality.

• The manuscript must not have been previously published or submitted to another journal. Authors must submit a written declaration to this effect.

• The journal reserves the legal rights to utilize the published research for the purposes of academic promotion.

• The publication fee is 75,000 Iraqi Dinars (IQD).

• Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word.

• Font requirements: Simplified Arabic for Arabic text and Times New Roman for English text. Font size: 14 for the main text and 12 for footnotes, with 1.15 line spacing and 2.5 cm margins on all sides.

• The first page must include the research title, author’s full name, academic rank, institutional affiliation, email address, and ORCID ID.

• Authors must follow the appropriate referencing style and citation methodology relevant to their academic discipline.

• An abstract in both Arabic and English (not exceeding one page) must be provided, along with a set of keywords in both languages.

• The paper must be structured into: Introduction, Subsections, Conclusion, and References.
