Reviewer Guidelines

Peer Review Policy of Eda’at for Humanities Journal

Eda’at Journal adopts a fully electronic and integrated peer-review system encompassing all stages of manuscript evaluation. Reviewers are expected to thoroughly consult the journal’s assessment criteria, which include guidelines designed to support the development of a rigorous, constructive, and valuable review.

Reviewers are given the opportunity to submit comments addressed both to the authors and the editorial board, in addition to providing confidential remarks intended solely for the editor. Reviewers must also adhere to the journal’s conflict of interest disclosure policy.

Reviewers are kindly requested to consider the following points, where applicable:

  • Does the manuscript fall within the scope and focus of the journal?

  • Are the data presented original and unpublished elsewhere?

  • Is the title precise, concise, and reflective of the manuscript’s content?

  • Does the abstract accurately represent the content of the manuscript?

  • Is the scholarly argument presented clearly and logically?

  • Are the interpretations scientifically justified?

  • Are the discussion and conclusions well-supported by the findings?

  • Are the references and literature citations appropriate and comprehensive?

  • Are the tables and figures clear, relevant, and properly labeled?

  • Are there parts of the manuscript that need to be revised, expanded, or removed?

  • Does the overall length of the manuscript correspond to its content and scientific value?

Comments may be submitted in text format through designated comment fields, with separate sections for remarks intended for the authors and those reserved for the editors. The platform also allows the upload of edited review files, where applicable.
